Privacy Policy

Updated October 8, 2026

This policy explains what personal data estudIA collects and how we use it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is the estudIA team. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, write to marcwebpages@gmail.com.

Data we collect

When you read the site. There are no accounts or sign-ups: everything is readable without registering. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We store two preferences in your browser’s local storage: your theme (light or dark) and, if the site shows ads, your cookie choice. These never leave your device.

Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to know how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It uses no cookies or local storage, builds no profiles and does not track you across sites: we only see aggregate numbers.

Videos. On pages with YouTube videos, the thumbnails are served from our own domain, so Google receives nothing while you are just reading. The YouTube player, and with it the connection to Google, only loads if you press play (see the Cookie Policy).

If you write to us. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them once the matter is closed.

Advertising. With your consent, Google may set cookies to show ads (see below and our Cookie Policy).

Purpose Legal basis
Delivering and securing the website Legitimate interest in running a safe service
Anonymous, aggregate visit statistics Legitimate interest in knowing which content is useful
Replying to your emails Your consent, given by writing to us
Personalised ads and measurement Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time

Google AdSense and third-party cookies

We may use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. These are third-party cookies controlled by Google. You can learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings, and manage other vendors’ cookies at youronlinechoices.eu. If you reject non-essential cookies, Google may show non-personalised ads that use cookies only for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We use these providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (YouTube video player, only if you press play) and Google (advertising, only with consent). Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area; they rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep data

We keep no reader data. Cloudflare keeps its technical logs for the period set in its own policy, and emails you send us are deleted once the matter is closed.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To do any of this, write to us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If we ever add features that need signing up, we will explain them here before they go live.
