Cookie Policy
Updated October 6, 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature. This page lists what estudIA uses and why.
Strictly necessary (no consent needed)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
theme |
Local storage | Remembers light or dark mode | Until you clear it |
consent |
Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice (only if the site shows ads) | Until you clear it |
| Cloudflare security cookies | Cookie (Cloudflare) | Protect the site from bots and attacks | Session or short-lived |
Advertising and measurement (only with your consent)
If ads are enabled and you accept, Google AdSense and its partners may set third-party cookies to show and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your browsing. These cookies are controlled by Google; see how Google uses cookies in advertising and its partner sites policy. If you reject them, Google may still show non-personalised ads that use cookies only for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
We pass your choice to Google through Google Consent Mode, so no advertising cookies are used until you accept.
YouTube videos (only if you press play)
Some pages show YouTube videos. Until you press play we only show a thumbnail served from our own domain, which sets no cookies and does not contact YouTube. Pressing play opens YouTube’s player in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not store cookies to personalise ads until you play the video; from then on Google may use local storage and cookies under its privacy policy. If you prefer, open the video directly on YouTube instead.
How to change your choice
The cookie banner and the Cookie settings link at the bottom of each page only appear when the site shows ads, because that is the only thing that needs your consent; while there are none, there is nothing to accept. When they do appear, use Cookie settings to open the banner again. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, or manage personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings.
More details about personal data are in our Privacy Policy.
